Johnny in Wonderland

Ho scoperto che le mie professoresse del MA, in quanto responsabili del centro nazionale per la ricerca sulla letteratura infantile, sono state invitate alla première del nuovo "Alice in Wonderland"... invidia estrema.
In genere i film tratti dai grandi classici della letteratura infantile, specialmente quelli che amo molto, non mi entusiasmano granchè; tuttavia, come ha ammesso la professoressa Thiel, "Posso fare un'eccezione se è coinvolto Tim Burton. O Johnny Depp."

It turns out that my lecturers of the MA , as responsible for the National Centre for Research in Children's Literature, had been invited to the première of Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland"...extreme envy!
Normally I am not that keen on movies based on children's classics, especially the ones that I really love, but, quoting professor Thiel, "If it involves Tim Burton, I am ready to make an exception. Or Johnny Depp."
