Those first kicks. Despite it being the third first time in not-so-long, it still feels overwhelming. Nevermind the exaustion, the twenty-four hour sickness or the backache: it just puts this big, slightly vacant smile on your face. It's like falling in love. Actually, this is probably what falling in love is about.
